Mission & Impact

For more than 40 years, Kimberly Crest has served people from our community, region and throughout the world with a steadfast commitment to:

 

  • Sharing and preserving the aesthetic experience of the estate;
  • Educating visitors about the history and cultural significance of events, people and objects associated with the landmark; 
  • Inspiring people of all ages through the visionary leadership of Mary Kimberly-Shirk and her enduring commitment to education, philanthropy and service to others.

 

In the past year alone, we  provided:

  • 900+ home tours serving 5,000+ guests; 
  • 2,500 school-age visitors an up close look at history through field trips by local schools;
  • 15,000+ garden visits;
  • funding to complete seven restoration projects and
  • thousands of visitors historically immersive experiences through special tours and events.
