Public Tours

Tours of Kimberly Crest are docent guided and include the first two floors of the house plus the Carriage House Museum.  Docent guided tours are the only way to gain access to the interior of the house.

Public Tours are offered Thursday, Friday and Sundays from 1:00-3:30 p.m. with a tour beginning every half hour. Each tour accommodates up to 10 people and is approximately 45 minutes. Tickets may be purchased in the Carriage House Gift Shop on the day of the tour. It is first come first serve policy.

The gardens and gift shop are open to the public from 1:00-4:00 pm, Thursday, Friday and Sunday for no charge.

Kimberly Crest is closed for the month of August and Major Holidays.

Group Tours

Group tours are available for parties of ten or more and are subject to availability. They may be scheduled any day of the week excluding public tour times.  Tours are $10 per person with a 10 person minimum. They include the first two floors of the house plus the Carriage House Museum, the gardens will be available for guests to explore on their own. The path up to the house includes several sets of stairs, if guests are unable to maneuver the stairs, arrangements must to be made for transportation in advance.

Behind the Scenes Tour

The Behind the Scenes Tour is announced quarterly and includes parts of the house not on the regular public tours – such as basement, additional parts of the 2nd floor, and the 3rd floor. This tour is limited to a group of 8. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Kimberly Crest is located on Prospect Dr off Highland Ave and not Fountain Ave.

Kimberly Crest House & Gardens is located approximately two miles south of downtown Redlands. The community of Redlands is between Los Angeles and Palm Springs on Interstate 10.

Traveling east on Interstate 10, take the Ford Street exit and turn right onto Ford Street. Turn right onto Redlands Blvd. and then left onto Highland Avenue. Go past the first stop sign (Cajon St.). Prospect Drive is the first driveway on the left.

Traveling west, take the Redlands Blvd./Ford St. exit. The exit ramp will turn into Redlands Blvd. Turn left onto Highland Avenue. Go past the first stop sign (Cajon St.). Prospect Drive is the first driveway on the left.
